Getting started¶
What this is: the shortest path from nothing to your first answer from Bill or Ben. Who it is for: the first admin of a company, then everyone they invite. You will learn: what to do in what order, and where each step is explained.
Availability
Self-serve sign-up is switched on per deployment (an open trial or a waitlist), and the Microsoft Teams app store listing is coming soon. Where sign-up is not on, your Bill and Ben contact opens your company space; for Teams you install the app package from the console. The Roadmap is kept up to date.
For the first admin¶
- Sign in to the console. Open
https://app.<brand>and sign in with Microsoft, Google or email. You land in your own company, on the Admin overview. See Admin console. - Check the trial. A trial lasts 14 days and needs no card. See Plans and billing.
- Invite people and give them roles. Open People, invite by email, then give each person a role such as Member or Developer. See Invite a person.
- Connect Microsoft 365 and Teams. Follow the Setup checklist. Install the Teams app package from Meeting bots.
- Turn Bill and Ben on in a chat or channel. Open Channels and switch the chat on.
- Review the AI notice. Both agents say they are AI before their first answer. You can reword the text in Settings. See AI transparency.
For everyone else¶
- Accept the invitation from your email and sign in.
- Open a chat with Bill (product and business work) or Ben (engineering work) in Teams, or mention one in a channel.
- Write what you want in plain words. See Teams chat.
- If an agent wants to change something, it asks first. Say yes or no.
Next, try one of these:
- Bring an agent to a meeting.
- Open the Helmora board and plan something together.
- Use your own AI app as a remote control: Connect your AI.
If it does not work¶
You may see a message that you are not on the list, or that your account is not linked. Both have simple fixes: see Troubleshooting.
